Anorexia nervosa, an eating disorder which people do not eat correctly due to a distorted body image and obsessive fear of weight gain
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note to readers; This is not encouragement This is not thinspiration The picture is there to remind, nothing more or less. "Anorexia is a real problem, believe me or not. It's not what most people think it is. It's an everyday battle, that goes on and on, and generally won't stop until you're hospitalized. No, you can't give yourself this disease, nor should you want to. It's horrible, it completely takes over your life, destroy's every little part of you until there is barely anything left, nothing left to hold onto. If you ever envy people with this disease, or ever think about "trying to give it to yourself" Take a step back and think for one moment, thing about the long run. The hours after hours of thinking about everything you ate that day, the never-ending calorie counting, non-stop excerice until you nearly pass out from exhaustion. But, no matter what you do, it will never be good enough for "her". You don't know how lucky you have it..." by ~ravingxducky |

The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.

I smile because they haven't found the bodies yet, she smiles because they never will.
So many children or teens are saying things like 'I'ds like to be anorexic'. But they don't have a clue what they are saying. They really would like to deal with an illnes just to be thin or worse to be skinny. They don't care about their health anymore.
That's so sad.
About the picture...
It's beautiful. I like the bright colors. They fit to the topic very well. And the models expression fit's very well too.
